Dakhla is one of the windiest places on Earth. There are 330 windy days per year and the weather is stable (no dry and wet seasons). During the summer months the wind is very strong and the temperatures are high. In winter the wind gets a bit lighter, the temperatures are still comfortable and you can also enjoy some great waves!

A foreign national wishing to enter Morocco must obtain a visa unless he or she is a citizen of one of the countries eligible for visa exemption. There is free Visa on arrivals for all UE citizens. In Morocco there are no serious epidemiological risks, so protective vaccination is not a must. Nevertheless vaccination against tetanus and hepatitis is highly recommended.

The Sahara has one of the harshest climates in the world. Daytime temperatures are high, but heat loss is rapid at night. That is why you should take some warm clothes – evenings may be really chilly. Throughout the day a pair of boardshorts and a T-shirt will be enough. From April till September, you may need a short or long wetsuit of 2/3 mm, from October till March a long wetsuit of 3/4 mm or 4/5 mm is a must. Don’t forget to take high-SPF sunscreens. A lot of them! In Morocco it is difficult to get alcohol – take it into consideration, as you may want to stock up in the duty-free zone at the airport. The best currency to have is euro – you will easily exchange it to the local currency, Moroccan dirhams.

Dakhla is our schools’ permanent location. When travelling around, we use 4x4 cars. They are used for all the transfers in our offer. In order to guarantee a safe and hassle-free environment during our classes, we use a special motor pontoon boat. Thanks to this, you can fully enjoy practicing your favourite sport and forget about any possible troubles: we’ll be there to help! We collaborate with the local hotel and camping owners helping our clients get the accommodation which best suits their needs. In our school you will find the whole range of kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and SUP equipment. No matter the weather conditions, we will fill you with unforgettable memories. You have our word!
